Top 5 Reasons Why to Travel Around Europe

As you might have guessed, I’m a big fan of travelling throughout Europe. So if you need a little persuading or need a reason on why to visit Europe. Here are top 5 reasons why to travel around Europe.

Yeah, I do go on about my trip to Europe. Only because it was so frickin’ awesome. So awesome in fact that we’re going to be doing it again next year. I’m so pumped and excited for it. Richard and I were talking about it today, we’re so excited and ready to go now.

We really lucky to be able to jump onto a Eurostar and be in either Paris or Brussel within 2 hours. It no different than jumping onto a train and going somewhere in the UK.

I have already spoken about how incredible it is to travel Europe with the Interrail pass. But if that hasn’t twisted your arm enough, and is a little hesitate on going to Europe. Especially with all the scaremongering the media like to do.

One word. Don’t be hesitant or scared. Europe is a safe place to visit. We were perfectly safe last time and we will be perfectly safe next time.

If you still need a few reasons on why to visit Europe. Here are the top 5 reasons why to travel around Europe.

Borderless countries

It so easy to jump from one Europe country to the next. Within a day you could be in Paris to Belgium. There no border checks or security gate. We just hopped on a train and went all over. Those some ticket inspector might ask to see your passport while on the train. But its usually nothing to worry about. But generally speaking, Europe is one big country brunch out into small continents. Think of it that way.

Culture:

It has to be said Europe is all about culture. This ranging from arts, to foods, to music and to even dancing. Go to the Louvre to see the Mona Lisa or sightseeing in Ancient Rome. Every corner you turn, there’s a new culture waiting to be explored.

Easy to get around:

If you don’t use the interrail pass to travel around. Transport is still so easy to use and there are so many options to choose from. Hop on a tram or take a short plane flight to a different location. Even if you decide to walk everywhere, there are still loads of options to choose from.

 The Foods:

Having authentic Italian pizza is heaven! Eat like an Italian or Greek. Every village, towns or train stations, there is a wide variety of options to choose from. So if you fancy Italian or even Spanish foods, you are bound to find it. There are plenty of restaurants and café to choose from.

The Sights:

What you see when travelling around Europe is nothing short of breathtaking. Everywhere you turn there is something new to discover. It totally beats seeing it on TV or in a photo. There a new sight to see every day. So whatever you fancy, whether it’s the beach or a snowy mountain; there is something for you.

Those were my top 5 reasons why to Travel Around Europe. Do you have any to add?

I love travelling in Europe too! While America is always going to be my favourite, I love the ease of being able to just hop over to Europe. I wish I lived closer to London sometimes to be able to jump on the Eurostar, but flights can be just as quick too, and you get to experience such different cultures in just a couple of hours 🙂

I always know that I’ve wanted to travel around Europe. No joke, I’ve wanted it ever since I was 5 or something. But now that I’m an adult who travels with my own money, I’ve encountered a reality check that makes me realize that it’s not as easier as I thought it would be. Holding Indonesian passport with Indonesian paycheck make it hard for me to even get my Schengen visa application approved. One day, maybe. Fingers crossed! 🙂
