life lately books and rain

Last week I was going through my blog archives and re-reading a lot of my old blog posts. I have to say it really does make me smile that I have this collection of memories and I can go back and re-read it anytime I want.

It pretty special when you think about it as I can look back when I’m old and grey and smile that I did all this when I was young.

So that the point of this blog post today. Sharing little tidbits of my life so I can read this when I’m old and go, ‘oh yeah, I remember that’. But by then, I’m hoping my brain would be uploaded to a computer and have all my memories stored on a hard drive.

I’m also hoping that by writing a little blog post like this, you get a bit more sense of who I am and what my life is about. It isn’t exactly glamorous, and I’m not precisely any A-list Hollywood starlet, but still, I’m hoping you even would like to read more about me and my life.

I still don’t have a camera, so I am currently sharing one with my husband. My last camera kind-of broke, it got fixed, but it still isn’t a 100% right. So going snap-happy is a little tricky, but I do have my phone on me for most of the time.

Anyway, let me share with you my life lately where it all books and rain.

Books:

life lately books and rain

A miss-mash of books but it does relates to each other, sort off. Anyway, I don’t have the patience of reading a long plot so I tend to go for books where you can pick up and put down, anytime you want.

They are new age, self-help books. The kind of books that give you a boost in life. Well that the idea anyway. I didn’t buy all these books, as one book was given to me kindly from a girl on Twitter and Richard got me to remind me how ‘awesome’ I am. Anyway, they are keeping me going for the time being.

Rain:

Now if you know me, you know I love a good rainy day. I really do. But there is rain, and then there is stormy mental rain. The kind where it is just extreme, and it just pounds on your windows like little rocks The past week we had both Storms, Ciara and Dennis. I have been holed up at home listening to the viciousness of the howling winds and the rocks pounding rain. Luckily we haven’t had flooding where we are, but a few miles down the road and everywhere is just flooded. So rain like that isn’t fun.

It also annoying as I wanted to do some more outfits posts.

Bring on spring is all I can say.

Lastly am trying to get my blogging groove on and trying to post regularly. So please do let me know what you would you like to see on here over the coming weeks and months.
