Fairy Tales Dresses at Elie Saab Haute couture a/w 2018

If only life was like a Disney fairy tale. Then we would find our prince charming and be wearing real-life fairy tale dresses from Elie Saab haute couture a/w 2018.

The other day I found myself watching Elie Saab Haute couture a/w 2018 catwalk show on YouTube. I have forgotten how dreamy it is to watch a haute couture catwalk show. Yes, dreamy. As let face it, haute couture isn’t the kind of fashion you could pop into Tesco, is it?

Whenever I watch a haute couture show, especially anything from Elie Saab; it makes me think of Disney fairy tales and how dreamy it would be to wear those couture dresses.

Haute couture dresses from Elie Saab I feel gives us that tiny glimpse of real-life Disney fairy tales. Where it really possible to find prince charming and to live happily ever after.

Ok, so you might not ever really be Cinderella or Snow White and have those seven dwarfs at your commands or a whole forests of wildlife helping you clean up. But just for a short time, you can dream and imagine that you are living in a real-life fairy tales; where the gowns look like they stepped out of a fairytale medieval ball, where prince charming is looking for the princess with the glass shoes at midnight. Or perhaps beauty has been invited to a romantic candle lights dinner by the beast and afterwards take a midnight stroll in the enchanted garden.

I can keep adding fairy tales’ scenario and adjectives to describe the Elie Saab Haute couture a/w 2018 collection, but only you can really imagine your own fairy tale and how you would want it to be played out.

So do you agree with me on how Elie Saab Haute couture a/w 2018 look like real life fairytale dresses and how it just makes you feel all dreamy? What would be your fairy tale?

  • Oh my gosh so many beautiful dresses!! Number 4 and 6 are stunning!! Such beautiful colour pallet too, all the warm pinks are lovely. Plus they are nearly all wearable which is often unusual in haute couture runway looks
