Do you believe in Spirit Cards?

Confession time, I like having tarot spirit cards/psychics readings. I like to have my future told to me through a psychics/spiritual/mysterious medium. Ok obviously I don’t use it to find out the winning number for the lottery or anything but I would like to know if I’m in for an unexpected surprise – kind of a spoiler alert on your future.  My first one was at a fair at Earl Court (it was a holistic/well being show) a couple years ago and I booked myself in for a 30 minutes reading, thought it’d be fun and something I always wanted to try out. I left completely hooked, one reading for me wasn’t enough – I wanted more. So over the course of the year I went to various psychics medium/clairvoyant across London. Obviously from having various reading I soon learns who was a complete faker – scammer – in it for your cold hard cash, however I do believe I met some genuinely medium/psychics who really does have ‘the gift’.

A few years ago at one reading, a psychic said I have a boy spirit attached to me and he is very close to me, she said it wasn’t my boyfriend (now my husband, Richard) but someone is attached to me like a cord.  I found out a few week later I was pregnant and I had the strongest sensation it was a boy (found out later that it was!) and I was pregnant at the time of the reading but didn’t knew it at the time. So how spooky is that?

I had a lot of people who rolls their eyes at me, I have had people telling me it a waste of my time and money but I love it and I don’t care what people say to me. A few year ago I was having one every few months, I was little bit addicted to it. I don’t have that many any more (despite there a tarot card reading shop 10 mins away from me, someone got a cruel sense of humor) as I can’t afford to keep having one.

As with every reading I learns over the years to take it with a pinch of salt – It not really going to predict my future, more of a guidance and council. My advice would be if you do decide to have a reading take it with a pinch of salt and do it for fun.  A couple of psychics told it’s a banned practice to tell anything about the future as it give that person a disillusion about their lives.

A few week ago I went to that psychics shop and brought a spirit cards box-set, partly for fun and for curiosity. I do love the actual print/ designs of these psychics tarot cards and my aim was to try it out and to see how it work behind the scene. I have realize that a lot of psychics just memorize the book that came with the cards – so no real talent or special gift. However I’m not knocking every psychics – I do think some do the have gift – but other just like to buy a card box set like I did and memories everything written within the guide-book.

I’m a big believer in there being more in this world – there is force greater to us – and I’m not specifically talking about religion. Just a feeling I have, don’t anyone else feel it?
