Dirty Works Overnight Facial Lift Night Cream

A month ago I brought some beauty products from Sainsburys, I already reviewed the Dirty Works Detox Mud Mask so today I will be reviewing the Dirty Works Overnight Facial Life Night Cream.

Product Description:

Wake up to a radiant, younger-looking complexion. This miracle cream delivers serious wrinkle smoothing and long lasting moisturisation. Combining a triple peptide complex, seaweed extract and nourishing Shea Butter, it lifts, tones and boosts collagen while you sleep, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Direction:

After cleansing in the evening, gently massage into your face and neck. Use every night for 8 weeks to see the results.

The Review:

Despite it being an overnight cream I didn’t actually use this before going to bed, I used this during the day. The thing with night cream, I’m not a fan of putting any products on my face right before I go to bed. I like going to bed with my skin completely clear and fresh, I hate having the thought that there is a product on my face while I try to sleep. So yeah when I tried this, it was fist thing in the morning. If I’m not honest I don’t think it make any different to when you use this – whether it’s day or night.

Dirty Works Overnight Facial Lift Night Cream

The cream is a clean scent that didn’t bother me at all, it isn’t powerful and you don’t notice it after application. The cream combines triple peptide complex, seaweed extract and nourishing Shea Butter. It supposed to lift, tone and boost collagen, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Admittedly I haven’t been using it long enough to say it reduces my fine lines and wrinkles – I’m also think that due to the fact that I don’t really have fine lines or winkles on face yet, I’m just really lucky. Nonetheless this cream is hydrating with no greasiness, and after my first usage I kept touching my cheeks, because they felt so soft!

Overall It felt like a nice facial cream to use, it does moisturise the face and make it feel clean. But the claim it reduce wrinkles and give you a younger looking complexion – honestly I didn’t notice any different but maybe that due to the fact that I’m not at that age yet to have a problem. Maybe I should re-review this facial life night cream in a few year time when I’m a little older.

I need to use this! I’m finding as I’m getting older that my face needs more and more help. Granted, it is a bummer that you didn’t notice much of a difference.

Great review. The truth is a lot of these creams that claim to make your skin younger, simply plump up the skin with more water. Over time you might see a slight change, but I don’t believe it will drastic either.

I feel the same as you do. I don’t like to put anything on my face when I go to bed.

Sounds like a good product – even if just for a moisturizer. I’ve recently gotten to the place where I’m trying to make a habit of using night cream on my face, not because I need it yet, but because I want to last longer before I need it, lol. I’ve been loving this little pot of Olay night cream, which soaks into my skin really well without leaving my face feeling heavy or oily. I even sleep in it!

Nice review, they all make those wrinkle reduce promises don’t they? as someone much older than you I can tell you the only thing I have found that delivers is Coconut Oil

I am a huge fan of creams that aren’t too potent when it comes to smell so maybe I should give this one a try! I think I could use with a lift haha

I know facial cream is important. I am always skeptical when it says it takes away wrinkles. Although I do imagine it would be hard to evaluate that side of a product when you really aren’t old enough to have any.

I’m not sure any cream can remove wrinkles, I think its a product of moisturizing and genes.

It sounds like a great cream to have especially during the warmer days of the year. I like that it makes your skin feel soft and smooth.

I love using moisturizers especially during the day. And although this is a night cream, it’s good to know that you can use it during day time as well. I would love to try it.

How long did you use the cream? 🙂 Actually night creams are best to be used at night when our cells regenerate. Also, most creams that claim reducing lines or wrinkles need to be used at least more than a month – this is from my personal experience. Maybe you should give it another go?
