My Beauty Advent Calendar 2014

I hoped everyone had a lovely Christmas and had a lovely day. I certainly did – drank too much and ate more then I should have! I got loads of bits and bobs to show you over the next few week but for now I thought I would show you what was in my beauty advent calendar before it too late.

If you were following me on instagram (if you wasn’t – you was missing out!) you would know that every morning I would post a little video of me opening my Body Shop advent calendar, the response I had from it was amazing. I had people twittering me saying they loved my little instagram updates and people was coming up to me wondering how they can get their hands on it.

As well as The Body Shop advent calendar I also had the Ciate advent calendar as well, I didn’t instagram this one as I wanted to share with you on here:

Every morning I would open a little door that would reveal little nail polish sample to try out. These pictures don’t show the quality of these nails polish but I will be doing a more close-up pictures in the next few weeks. I wasn’t’ excited with this as much as The Body Shop one and I was slightly disappointed as I thought it would contain something a little bit more then just nails polish, I was expecting more nails tattoo (there was only one) and more fun nails accessories or something. However I do like the colours and I can’t wait to try these out.  I won’t be getting this next year and I now have so many new polish I got to find space for it now.

Now onto the big one – The Body Shop advent calendar:

I have to say opening every door was something I would look forward too each morning. I was thrilled with this and loved this and it easily the best advent calendar I have brought for myself, the sample size was pretty reasonable and it can easily fit into a handbag. The shower gel/cream came in Frosted Cranberry, Strawberry and Glazed Apple and etc smelt amazing, I would love sniffing this and I can’t wait to try this out. I don’t think there is a sample I won’t use and If you’re interested on how I got on then please do let me know and I will reply back.

This have in a way restore my love for The Body Shop and I will in no doubt be buying this again next year.

So there you have it, I hope you enjoyed this and If you had a beauty calendar – what did you have and how did you get on with it?

What do you think?

I’m not a massive fan of The Body Shop products although I used to be a huge White Musk & Dewberry fan back in my teens 😉 The Ciate one looks amazing was very tempted by this but I have gels on constantly so not much point, really love the idea of these calendars though x
