A Belated Blogiversary

What with Christmas celebration, and just general running around on a daily basis; I completely forgot my blogiversary in November. Oh well, here a belated blogiversary.

Yeah, whoops me. I was sitting down having my Christmas dinner and the topic of my job came up, as it always does as most of my family don’t really understand with what I do; and just love to grill me on it. I rolled my eyes and took a deep breath in and prepared for the influx of questions coming my way.

It was then it occurred to me that I completely forgot my blogiversary back in November. Feeling annoyed with myself forgotten such an important occasion. I’m making up for it now.

It only been this year that I properly been blogging full time as a job. Before that, I would juggle between writing on here and work for my client’s websites. And if we go back a little further – I would only blog as a hobby and if I was bored.

I think since blogging full-time I have found my interest in photography and I now adore taking photos and uploading them to here. I also love showing you my adventure and what I get up to whenever I’m out.

I’m still very much a private shy person and I don’t talk about myself in great details. Well if I’m honest, there not really much to say. But Richard has said that I have become a little more open about myself, which I think is an awesome complement. Because it is true, while I kept some things back – I have become a little more open and do talk about things I’ve seen and done or whatever going on in my life.

And I think that how it going to continue in the new year, me photographing everything and then talking about my adventures to all you lovely lots.

When someone writes a blogiversary, they usually reflect on years gone by and then set new goals. Well, I’m crap at setting goals, like seriously I would set up goals and then forget about it. How is rubbish that? So I’m not setting up any goals. I’m going to keep on doing the things I’m doing. If that aright with you?

But I would like some feedbacks and let me know if I’m on the right path. What would you like to see in the new year? Don’t be shy, I won’t bite. Do comments down below on what you would like to see in the new year on here.

Anyway, as I was having me after dinner drink, I gave this blog and myself a little toast and rang in my blogiversary. So cheers everyone and onward and upward.

Hello, it’s so lovely for you to join me. Let me introduce myself. I’m Anna Nuttall living in London and married to my husband, Richard. • Happy blogiversary!! I’m not the best with opening up about myself either, but it’s something I’m working on too!

  • Congrats, Anna!

I agree with Richard! I know it is a bold move for any shy person to talk about one’s own experiences but as a blogger, this will make you only more authentic and memorable! Also, I love everything about photography (or how to take better pictures as a rookie!).

Btw, your Instagram feed looks amazing!

  • Happy Blogversary. I hope one day that I am giving a similar speech and celebrating. I do enjoy reading your blog. I left my job in April and while I love my blog and have been consistent at posting, I have mastered the art of making a profit off of it. Do you have any advice for me?
