5 Things to watch on Netflix This Weekend

The weekend is made for sitting on the couch watching a bunch of Netflix. Here are 5 things to watch on Netflix This weekend

When people would ask what I do on a weekend, my response is always the same: just watch whatever is on Netflix.

For me it just nice to sit down on the couch, draw the curtains and get lost in a film or TV shows. I usually had the place to myself as well at the weekend as Richard is always working; so the weekend is a peaceful time.

If you enjoy just chilling out at the weekend. Here are 5 things to watch on Netflix this weekend.

GhostBuster 2

Yeah you probably seen this film a thousand time. But it’s a frickin’ classic and there’s no harm in seeing it one more time. The humor is still there, so is the 80s fashions and the over the top special effects. For me this film never gets old, its will always be enjoyable to watch.

My Girl

I still remember seeing this film in cinema and bawling my eyes out. I also think this what set me off as a lifetime fear of wasp. A film this is another classic and one that you have to at least watch once. I’m not going to say much more on this as it the kind of film you just need to watch.

House of Cards

Yay, Frank Underwood is back! And meaner than ever. In season 5 he is ruthless – utterly ruthless. There’s lots of real life clue in this series – which make this compelling to watch.  Kevin Spacey is just brilliant in this and watching one episode is never enough.

A Series of Unfortunate Events

This has been on Netflix for a while now, so you might have watched this already. I’m not talking about the Jim Carey film version (which is also on Netflix), but the TV series. I actually think this is better than the film version as the TV series follow more closely to the books and has a darker sense of humor. It’s incredibly quirky and very stylish. This is good fun to watch.

Mad Men

I have mentioned Mad Men in my previous Netflix post, but I feel I should tell you again that you need to watch this. Its stylish, sophisticated and sexy. If you love 60s culture – not to mention the clothes, then you are in for a treat. I should give you a warning as there are time when you just want to shout at Don Draper.

That was my list of 5 things to watch on Netflix this weekend. Do you have any to add?

I don’t have Netflix as we don’t watch an awful lot of television, however I agree with you about GhostBuster 2 it’s a timeless classic and still makes me laugh! Some of the other films you mentioned also sound good!

I really liked Mad Men. The first season is the best, though. And yes, there were times I wanted to shake Don Draper. I tried House of Cards but it was too mean-spirited for me. I have towatch My Girl, though. I’ve never seen it.
