10 Favorite Dresses In My Wardrobe

by Anna Nuttall

The idea for this blog post came from an ancient fashion tag I done years and years ago, however I’m wishing to revise this tag and I’m asking you all to do this for yourself. The rule is really simple, all you have to do is pick 10 of your favorite items in your wardrobe, say where it’s from, why you like it & any memories of you wearing it. No Accessories allowed.

I found it really hard picking 10 items of clothes in my wardrobe, so instead I picked 10 favorite dresses as I have so many dresses in my collection. I went through a phrase of buying a dress a week so I naturally build up quite a lot! It was really hard picking 10 but I managed to whittle it down eventually.

♥ The green dress is a Laura Lees For Topshop, it a quirky dress with embroidery of skulls and flies. I remember I spent a long time debating about whether to buy this or not as I couldn’t decide whether I like it or not, but eventually I did and I’m glad I did. The last time I wore this was for a Halloween costume party where I went as a Mother Earth punk (interesting combination!).

♥ The Multi-colour polka dot dress is from New Look, It’s such a pretty dress with heart shaped button at the back. I wore this on my first day at uni and I remember being boiling in this dress as it was a really hot day!

♥A velvet-texture white dress from Laura Lees For Topshop. Another dress from Laura Lees Topshop Collection (I brought loads from there), it’s a quirky designed with flowered embroidery and with a velvet texture. I don’t think I have worn this yet.

♥ A silky black & white polka dot dress from Miss Selfridge. I LOVE this dress, It has a frilly collar and a pleated skirt and a belt to be attached. The last time I wore this was at some family event or something.

♥A green dress from Mina UK. A perfect summer dress with little pink petal patten. I wore this dress last was in the summer and I was meeting somebody, they said I looked like a doll wearing this!

♥A blue & Gold dress from ASOS. The main thing that attracted me to this was that this is a dress with long sleeve, I love dress with long sleeve. It mean I can wear this throughout winter. I wear this all the time, this is my favorite dress.

♥ An Oriental Dress from New Look, I brought this 3-4 years ago and I still LOVE IT. It has white cherry blossom flowers with some pink flowers on it. It really floaty (as it really does hang on your body and doesn’t cling to you) to wear and the last time I wore this for a work event last year.

♥ A Blue Tea Dress from New Look. This dress a few years ago, people was going CRAZY for it! It was feature in Vogue and everyone at the time was going crazy for it, I’m not sure if this is the case but It was New Look most popular dress/clothes ever. I was a bit late to the party and I eventually managed to find one in my size. I haven’t worn this yet but I remember bloggers/fashion columnist was raving about this dress.

♥ A yellow Dress from Miss Selfridge. I went through a phase of wanting a yellow dress, I simple had to have one. I saw this on their website and It was a perfect summer dress, the last time I wore this was for a date with my hubby.

♥ A blue dress from Laura Lees For Topshop. My 3rd dress I have feature from Laura Lees For Topshop, a quirky dress with little boat patten and a peter pan collar. The last time I wore this when I went shopping.
